Midgardsblot tweets and reasons for this

I thought I may tell you why I decided to do these special tweets on the history of vikings, also how they connect to different cultures.

I have done one on Greek dancing but I have also focused on Irish dancing because it is funny to see all these different cultures and the way they keep their traditions.

I thought it would be even cooler to associate the video on Midgardsblot You Tube page which is called Winter Solstice:

This is one of those Pagan rituals which makes sense to those who celebrate those Nordic traditions which is called Yule. It is the celebration of light and when you come to Norway during winter they have all their lights switched on. Not because they are afraid of the dark, but because they do not really celebrate christmas, they celebrate Yule.

I took my source from this site here, as well. It pretty much backs what I mean. I know that everywhere around the world they have christmas lights, well, now you kind of understand why. It is to celebrate light and the passing of the dark underworld.
